Our Commitment

VotRiteMobile is committed to WCAG 2.2 AA compliance to ensure all eligible voters can access secure mobile voting, including those using screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack), keyboard navigation, magnifiers, and voice control.

Features Implemented

• Contrast: 4.5:1+ text, high-contrast themes (black/white, yellow/blue)
• Keyboard: Full Tab/Enter/Space/Arrow support + visible 3px focus outlines
• Screen Readers: Semantic HTML landmarks, ARIA live regions, speech synthesis
• Resize/Zoom: Responsive up to 400% zoom
• Mobile: 44px touch targets, TalkBack/VoiceOver optimized
• Forms: Labeled inputs, descriptive alt text, error identification

Conformance Status: WCAG 2.2 AA

All 38 Success Criteria met. Verified via axe DevTools and Lighthouse Accessibility (95+/100).

Known Limitations

• Google Translate widget (3rd party) may impact lang attribute in some browsers
